Im recently engaged and plan on getting married in Feb. 2007. I am close to 40, ooo dollars in debt to numerous creditcard companies, and medical bills(no insurance). I havent paid a single penny on any of these bills for almost 5 years now. If i get married will my debts become my husbands too? and he lives in Indiana and i live in California and I acquired my debts here, but i plan on moving to Indiana in January 2007, can i begin to file my bankruptcy when i get to Indiana? I am pretty much homeless here, staying with friends. Which chapter should i file? Please help!:confused
