Okay....Not really sure how to explain all of this....It'd be a lot easier to answer the questions as they come....But I used to manage a tanning salon in Boardman, Ohio. I was recently DEMOTED but was told that I did NOTHING wrong they just didn't need two managers any longer. BUT the owner then gave me the option of staying with the company or leaving to find something else! He told me call in a week....Well, one week and one day later I was SUSPENDED via a phone conversation with the manager that DID NOT get demoted. BUT she refused to tell me why and told me to call the owner (Vin). When I did he was ignoring my calls and finally sent me a text message after 2 hours of me trying to call and text him that he will call me the next day.....

Like I said I don't know what information is really important so I can answer more when I start getting feed back....

I don't know what to tell you because I don't know what you're looking for. If you want to know if it was illegal to demote, suspend, or fire you, I see nothing in your post that would indicate that.

Well, yes that's what I wanna know....I spoke with friend's around here that have their own business and I spoke with law school friends....

They told me there are steps to follow...Verbal warning, written warning, then suspension....I was just suspended???

Those things help as far as unemployment goes, but there is no law stating that they have to give you any reason legally. Every company has their own policies. What they did may not be right, actually it is down right crappy, but they aren't doing anything illegal. They are however, making it easier for you to file for unemployment....
