Here is my question. My childs bio dad is 5000 behind in child support the child support office is no help he has not paid in 3 months. A year ago my case was sort of given to the state he lives in so they could collect. Here is the thing now i get the run around when I call the state I live in they say they dont know what is going on. If I call the other state they say i cant say anything to you call your state. Is it possible to close my case in the other state so my state can take the case back over?

Before you try to enforce the CS order, have you been able to talk to ex about him voluntarily relinquishing his rights if you forgive the arrears? I know in your other threads you said that your husband wants to adopt and advice was given to approach ex with the idea of you forgiving arrears if he allows adoption.

I have and he is giving me the run around one minete he says yes one he says no. I told him I would forgive all back childsupport. what else can i do

Check into your state's requirements for abandonment. In some states it can be as little as 6 months with no contact and no CS paid. It might be more advantagous for you to just let the state handle it and then file to TPR based on abandonment.
