BSPCPA 11-17-2006, 01:13 AM Not according to CA's Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). http://www.dir.ca.gov/dlse/opinions/1994-01-27.pdf Pattymd 11-17-2006, 04:23 AM Another one of California's employer-friendly laws. alex2004 11-18-2006, 07:18 AM California is quite pro employee. I feel they (California) sometimes go a little to far and the employer is quickly losing the ability to control the workplace. I work in the food service industry and even the employees do not like the break policy. (sorry I got off the subject). Thank you for responding. |
