I understand that regardless of whether you quit or are fired, your employer has until the next regular payday to release your final check. I was terminated effective 10/31/06, the next regular payday was 11/15/06, as the company pays on the 15th and 30th (or last day of month), and I did not receive a check, with the explanation being "It may be another 2 to 3 weeks do to a cash flow problem". The company is still open and operating, as well. Is there anything that I can do?

Yes, you can file a complaint of unpaid wages with the Michigan DOL.
