:( I work for an organization where I feel I have been verbally abused over the last 3 years. My boss has belittled me using fowl language, screaming at me slamming doors etc. Today the straw broke the camels back he used the F bomb several times, screamed at me etc. I removed myself from the building to not take it anymore, when I returned he told me that it was my entire fault that I was the child and he said nothing wrong. I said to him we both know different he proceeded to scream then get your s--t and get out of here for two years (my contract term) until I can grow up, Then slammed my door. I left for the day. This is not uncommon to all in the office.
What recourse do I have legally

I agree that you have been verbally attacked.
However, you can't do a thing about it.
It is not illegal to slam doors, swear at employees or generally be a jerk. It is not ethical and not very good business practice, but it is not illegal.
Sorry.

Oh, and he is within his rights to terminate you tomorrow for leaving today and insubordination.

Still... he can fire you for insubordination because you yelled at him.
Don't get me wrong... my personal pride wouldn't have taken his outburst... it is easier to get a new job than a new sense of self respect... but he is within his rights to fire you.

Trust me... in the jacka$$'s recollection, you yelled at him.
Use your extra time tonight to get the resume together and kick this job to the curb.
Or, at least plan on talking to his boss or HR in the morning. If you are already planning on leaving, you have nothing to lose.

That doesn't matter.
A job is not a courtroom... therefore, the laws of evidence do not apply. You can be fired for any or no reason and it is perfectly legal.
I am not saying you will be termed 100%, but I would throw some boxes in the back of the car anyway tomorrow.
