My husband works as a trim carpenter. He has to pull a company trailer with his personal truck. Should he be paid mileage or is it ok to just pay him for the time it takes to travel to and from the job sites? Also, does it constitute a hostile work environment when the owner of the company "downs" empolyees to home owners, building contractors, and other empolyees in front of that employee?

Mileage is not required.

What you describe does not meet the description of a hostile work environment, although it is *possible* (by no means guaranteed) that additional details *might* change the answer.
