Hi,
I live in PA and I work as part of a cleaning crew for a company that provides services cleaning supermarkets and convenience stores. I am an hourly employee making $8.50 an hour. When hired, I was asked to sign a paper accepting terms of working 5 days a week with no overtime. They quoted a “truckers exemption rule” under the premise that we go across state lines to provide the service even though all we do is drive to the location load and un-load our cleaning equipment and clean the floors. I feel it is a total misuse of that exemption, but I’m no legal mind… would someone help? A million Thanks
CL
