At what age will a judge listen to a child in KY? My daughters are 12 and 9. My ex is custodial parent because I had to move to the next state for work and the girls didn't want to switch schools at the time, etc. I am now settled and both girls want to live with me. They can't stand their stepmom who they feel is very controlling and mean. My ex and her have 2 other kids 4 and 1 who get a majority of the attention. My ex's big problem with me is that I am not a born again christian like his wife and therefore am going to "HE**". Keeping in mind that while he and I were married we did not go to church and had no plans to raise our girls in any particular religion, but to introduce them to what they wanted and help them decide on their own as they got older. I digress.
Anyways, he will fight me on this, but I see my older daughter on the verge of some very serious rebelling if the strictness is not eased. I feel like they are at a stage where they want to be with their mother and need that. So, what chance do I stand if both girls want this?
