I think there is a law in Alabama that prohibits one parent from moving over 60 miles away. My ex-wife said she was taking my son and moving. Granted we are divorced and share custody. Can she do that and if not can i just petition the courts without a lawyer. Iwould greatly appreciate any help on confirming the law.

read your court order, does it say anything about the parties moving?
