Pattymd 11-04-2006, 04:37 AM Only a very few state have a law that requires the pay day to be accelerated when it falls on a holiday or other nonbanking day. Strangely enough, California is not one of them. christamcd 11-04-2006, 01:47 PM I think this would deffiently depend on the employeer and your job. I know many many MANY years ago I worked at McDonald's and they paid the 5th and the 20th regardless of it being a weekend day. So it may be that you will get paid on Sunday. ScottB 11-04-2006, 01:55 PM Strangely enough, California is not one of them. Go figure. Interceptor 11-04-2006, 04:24 PM See California Labor Codes 204,204A,204b and 205. |
