My son was attacked by a dog when he was 10 - we sued and he received a settlement - after I was declared his guardian by the court the money was placed in a savings account in both our names and he cannot touch it until he is 21. How would I now withdraw funds to pay for his college tuition? What papers would need to be filed? Could I approach the judge myself or do I have to have an attorney (additional expenses I don't have)?
