I am asking for any information. I am considering leaving my parent/guardians home when I am 17. I am currently 16. I want to know what legal actions my parents could take in the state of MI.

I attempted to find information on my own but only found information that specifically reffered/applied to other states.

Someone informed me that MI is one of two states that do not consider individuals over age 17 illegal runaways and will not pursue action unless circumstances such as the individual is involved in drugs ect. apply.
