I posted on here a few days back, and have some questions. It seems the ex was promiscous during our six year mariage, and I think that she might say one or more of the children aren't mine. Even if paternity tests prove that I am not the biological father of these children, do I have a chance at getting custody? We have been to court several times and she has never mentioned this to the judge as of yet. Her lawyer is asking for a new trial date farther from nov. 6th, because he says he hasn't had enough time to go over the case. The case has been ongoing since april. I have had custody of the kids since april when we split, and am named as the father on all three birth certificates. The kids are with me all day and night, and I cook them breakfast lunch and dinner, as well as bathe them etc. Ex has an addiction to methamphetamines and history of domestic violence.Thank you

As long as the children were born during the marriage and you have acted as a parent the courts usually won't change legal paternity status without VERY good reasons. It is usually considered to be in the childrens' best interests.
