I am from India on F1 status. my wife is pregnant and I want to bring her here. Since I dont have insurance for her i was wondering if I can get help from Medicaid policy. i want to know am I eligible for this. Since she is in her first trimester, can i apply for a insurance for her which will cover maternity.

Medicaid eligibilty will vary depending on the state.

The way I read it, you are not Medicaid eligible. Your wife, being pregnant, could be, if she was living here.

She is not.

I have no idea if she could get a visa to come over here, use US taxpayer dollars for the costs of having a child who would then automatically become a US citizen. It could happen. I just don't know.
