I just started working for another school district and we receive pay every 10th and 25th. My first check, which was on the 10th. I almost did not receive because the payroll specialist said I was not going to receive one. I told her that i signed the sheet they use for a timesheet. She said she would call me back and she did I did received a check. Now the 25th came along and out of a feeling i called her and asked if i was ok for this upcming pay period. She emailed me and said i was ok. I go to the office on the 25th and NO CHECK. I told her i really needed the money. She said she wouldnt be able to write me check until MONDAY the 30th!!!! WOW. DO i have to wait that long to get my money?? Arent payroll departments suppose to have some kind of back-up plan. Man i am really worried about getting paid in the future.
