I hope someone can help me. Long story short-my husband and I purchased a home in N. Las vegas, NV. We had it inspected and had a visual done on the pool. There was an itemized list of things that were to be repaired. When we did the walk-through, the owners were still packing. We were kind enough to let them move a day after we had recorded. The repairs looked as though they had been completed. Apparently they were not. The home warranty for the pool was voided until we installed new filters and did some basic maintenance. The bathroom had mildew on the walls and cieling and this was not mentioned (during the walk-through, this was covered up by a fishnet with shells hanging from the ceiling) in any disclosure. Is there any way we can persue the matter and get some money from the seller? The contract said that the house was to be "broom clean" and repairs not to exceed $1500 were to be done. Basically, all the repairs were band-aids. The house was left with garbage all over (inside and out). We have pictures of everything and even neighbors statements. The owners now live in AZ. I have their mailing address. Any suggestions??!!!
