My office is doing some renovations, there are several bathrooms in the office. We used to have 1 female restroom on the lower floor and then 1 on the upper floor. In addition there were several other male restrooms.

Now that we are renovating, they want to allow for 1 female bathroom on the upper floor and 4male bathrooms and 1 unisex bathroom on the lower floor, yes the males outnumber the females.

I am trying to find out if there are any labor laws saying that there should be a certain number of restrooms per floor for each gender, does anyone know?

We just want to reclaim our restroom on the lower floor.
