I work for a non profit in philadelphia PA and i teach computer. The room I work in is cold, under 60 degrees on a cold day. I asked my supervisor for a spaceheater and she said "wear your coat" spaceheaters make the electric bill high. Would this be a violation of protecting employee safety? Where can I report this comment and file a claim for my health endangerment.

Wow...sounds like the Christmas Carol...Mr. Cratchett and Scrooge. In any case, I don't know if having a cold room is a health violation. The following link takes you to the OSHA website. I would ask them. Let us know. Their response will be interesting. http://www.osha.gov/as/opa/worker/index.html
