My husband and I both work for the same employer but different departments. We have a newborn daughter and we were told that our 12 weeks off would be combined. In other words if I take 6wk off after the baby he is only allowed 6 weeks off (which would be 12wks total). This does not seem right to me!!!! I feel we should be treated as individuals employees with 12 weeks each under FMLA. :rolleyes: :confused:
