I live in Michigan with the father of my child living in Ohio. He always gets behind on child support. The Washtenaw County FOC has for eight years favored him and has made him the victim me the villain. The judges who preside over my cases all have relationships with the fathers family. I can not get fair hearings and I have to pull teeth to file a show cause that ask him when he would like to pay.Who, as I can not afford an attorney can I talk to about this? Sincerely frustrated.

Keep after the CSE agency. Send them copies of the payment history showing that he is in arrears. If they won't do anything, you always have the right to file contempt papers yourself. Ask the court clerk where you can get the forms to file.

It's unusual for the CSE agency and the courts to side with the NCP, UNLESS there are reasons, like NCP is disabled, ill, etc. If this is not the case, then you'll need to keep pushing for your rights without the help of the CSE agency.

Although the Judges know the family, they still have to abide by the laws, if you have PROOF that they are biased due to knowing NCP's family, you should file a complaint with your state's agency that oversees Judges' actions.

The main thing is don't give up, learn your states CS laws and keep hitting the CSE agency over the head (figuratively speaking) until they take enforcement action.
