I just moved to the state of nevada about 2 mos. ago... and I
rented a home here in a beautiful golf course community, but my husband and I didn't check the schools around the neighborhood.. We just now found out that the schools around are very bad and we want to breake our lease, but we are afraid of getting getting sued by our landlord...Is there anyway I can get out of my lease agreement since I have two small children and obviously don't want to send them to a bad school..

If anyone has any info please let me know..

Thanks!

well, we moved to nevada from ohio and yes... the schools seem to be unsafe...I have been doing research on the school that correspond to my neighborhood.. I have been reading some of the parents reviews and some of the comments are shocking!

There is a way, but it will be expensive. You can negotiate to pay 2 months rent on condition that the landlord sign a written release from your contract. He may or may not accept it, but it does not hurt to ask. If you just take off you can ruin your credit and rental history and possibly end up as a blacklisted tenant.
