Hi, I am from New Hampshire, and have a pretty severe work allergy that affects my eyes. I am 100 percent sure that work is the only place that flares up my allergies, every day I work, and not even a hint of symptoms on days I don't work. And the symptoms are bad enough to affect my quality of life quite drastically. I have been given a prescription that helps alot, problem is even my with my insurance, the prescription costs $40.00, and it will be needed once a month. My question is, should WC cover this? I appreciate any input.

No WC would not cover it.
If it were me, I'd visit an allergist to find out what you are allergic to. It might be something as simple as the brand of cleaner used, a coworker's perfume or the plant in the corner of the office. If others aren't also experiencing the same, it is unlikely something environmental or with the building. The allergist may also be able to offer suggestions aside from a costly Rx such as an air purifier or filter for the AC vent.

Thanks for the response. I work in a factory, there are thousands of things that could be causing my problem, and yes, there are others that have the same problem (not many, it's not an epidemic or anything, I know of one other person on my shift, and my doctor said he has seen another person from my company for a similar problem). Well, this is kind of a bummer... :(

It is still worth the visit to the allergist. Your employer is required by law to keep a MSDS on every foreign substance used in the facility. If the allergist can narrow down what you are sensitive to, you can use those to help you figure out what at work is causing you problems.
