I have some problems at work. I have been threatened and actually have had a heavy object thrown at me :mad: what should I do? I have mentioned it to my boss, andd he did not do anything about it. Should I take this situation to a higher leavel or leave it alone. :confused: My opinion he should have been fired by his actions but the boss thinks other wise. No incident report was made nor offered, and the agressor did not even get talked to about this. Please help me in this matter. Thank you.

If you have been threatened with physical harm, you always have to the right to contact local law enforcement to discuss options.

Do you feel "unsafe" in the work environment as a result of these threats? If yes, I'd suggest having another discussion with the boss and inform him of the same. If nothing happens, then you should take it a step up or contact HR for assistance.
