I worked for a childcare company for about a month when I quit. I still have not recieved my last paycheck and the last day i worked there was in april. I've made numerous attmpts to get it but they keep having excuses and keep stalling. My dad says theres a law that i can sue up to 5 times as much if they didnt give me my paycheck with in 30 days...anyone know anyhting that will help me.

I don't know of any such law. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist though. On the other hand, you would have to file a civil claim which means either small claims court or an attorney.
Filing a claim for unpaid wages with the Texas Workforce Commission is free. And, btw, why did you wait so long?

You shouldn't have waited so long. File with the TWC now.
