I have a question my husband owned our home before we were married I have not added my name to the mortgage nor the deed, he recently was declared disabled and he filed chapter 13 on our home, we met with the trustee and lawyer to complete the process and our lawyer told us that he was 45 minutes late on filing the paperwork to stop our foreclosure on our home, he said the mortgage company may still sell our home, does anyone know what we should do now? besides surrender our home? Is it possible that I could buy our home?
