okay now my landlord who i do owe money to has been coming to my house every single day. And she keeps asking me for money. I have already explain my situation and she has already been paid for aug and sep rent. However i still owe her 400 for last month. Which i wont have for a while. My cell phone and cable have been turned off. Im trying to get help paying my electric before that gets shut of too. Well my problem is she is just unlocking my door and walking right in. Usually comes at the time my son is naping. But yesterday she came at 5:30am and walked right into my room where i was asleep and woke me up. I think i almost had a head attack and i mean i am 9 months pregnant. Can she do this just walk in? She said that she called but i didnt answer so thats why she just came in. But thats what she says everytime she has been doing this.

I suggest you take a good look at your priorities. Your cell phone and cable is not as important as keeping a roof over your head. That being said, NJ is probably one of the most anti-landlord states in the country. Look up your rights on the state website and next time she lets herself in call the police who will explain NJ tenant-landlord statutes to her.
