My Husband and his brother bought 50 acres of land and they agreed it would be divided. My husband built a house in his part of the land. When the land was paid off they had the deed recorded and they divided it equally (so he thinks). They ran a title search on our home and his brother and him are listed as the owner of the house. The County tax list my husband as owner of the property and it shows his brother and him owners for the 50 acres of land. Why is his brother on the title? How can we change this?
