Three months ago I had an accident where I injured my ankle. I went to the Doctor and he said I had micro tears in a muscle and it will heal on its own with time(he did confim no broken bones with xray). The only precaution he gave me was take it easy on it and elevate it when resting it would heal 6, 8 mabeye 10 weeks.
I visited the same Doctor several weeks later to tell him I just did not think it was healing right. He reassured me that he had seen this type of injury many times and I should continue to take it easy and it will heal.
Finally 3 months later I went to another Doctor for an unrelated physical. He said I tore much more and sent me to have an MRI and talk to a specialist.
Turns out I have a major tear which is going to require surgery. It may require much more effort because it has been torn for so long.
Should I consult a lawyer? Or am I getting worked up?
