My landlord just gave me a 3 day notice because she said we did the damages to her house. But we dint do the damages to her house. We only lived there for about less then a month and we barley stayed there. We told housing about the damages because she refused to fix them.Housing gave her ten days to fix the problem on the last 2 day's she had to fix them she gave us a 3 day notice. Then she turned around and told housing we did the damages so we could move out early.I lost my lease but i have picture's of the problems and a letter from the landlord saying that the bathroom sink wanst ment to sit on.The bathroom sink was comming out the wall i may add.The bathroom sink was one of the reasons she kicked me out She is also stating now that we owe her for the rest of the 11 months rent? What can i do about it somebody plz help thanks..

Are you talking about housing authority that helps you with your rent?(low income housing assistance). If so, they come in after a tenant leaves, and inspects, they also hold the landlord up to certain standards, if she wants to be paid by them. Did anyone take any pictures of the place when you moved in? Sure, you could refuse to leave, and have her take you to court to evict you legally, and you could take a copy of your complaint to he houseing authority, and thier response (telling the landlord that she has to fix it), and counter sue her for retaliation. I am not a lawyer, but this is what I would want to do. Have you contacted a landlord/tenant attorney, for a consultation? Is there a free legal aid clinic around you?

What does it say in the contract about how much notice you would get if you did damage to the home?

Are you a military member. You refer to the term "Housing" which is a phrase commonly used by military members. I would suggest (and its only a suggestion) making copies of her notice. Take the notice to the housing office, your First Sergeant, and the base legal office. Remember to keep a copy (or original) for yourself. Your First Sergeant is there to help you as is the Legal office on base. Contact all three and see if there is someway to resolve the issue. If need be, with the permission of your commander, you may be able to move into base housing based on your need. If not, consider finding a local attorny to help you. Many excellent individuals work pro-bono.

Are you around still with a computer, or without a home now?
