My husband works for a company that is contracted to a major hospital clinic. there is a contract and in the contract the guards are supposed to be paid a certain amout of money. So far he has recieved 3 checks and not one of them are correct. the pay is wrong. They promise with each check that they fixed it and still not right. What can we do without jeopardizing his job. Thanks

What do they say when he mentions the errors and that they have not been corrected from prior pays? And what kinds of errors are they?

At first they said they were checking the contract but on the last time they said that yes they will be getting 18.00 hourly plus their health and wealth benefits and they would be on his check he was getting today and it was wrong again.

So, is he short hours, or just not getting the hourly rate expected? If the former, he can file a complaint with the Texas Workforce Commission.

If the latter, is this an individual contract? Or a union contract? Or an offer letter? Or a verbal "promise"?

It's a goverment contract with the Veterns Administration. The contract states that the guards are supposed to receive wages at a guard 2 wage level according to the GSA wage determination and it hasn't happened yet.

Then it's an internal issue (or union, if he this is a union contract)i; the TWC does not have the mandate to enforce a certain rate of pay.
