When I was terminated from employment, I was told to turn in uniform pants and other items, if I am to receive my final paycheck. If say, a pair of pants or some item is not found, can they LEGALLY withhold my final paycheck or garner my wages?

Like I was reading earlier, they have to pay you for the time you worked.

It's like the equivalent of not getting your college degree or transcripts for an unpaid campus parking ticket.

Technically no, but since FL has no law dictating when a final paycheck must be released, it's not impossible that they might be able to succeed in holding it indefinitely, though not forever.

I would suggest that you make every effort to find all articles.
