Hello, I am currently applying for a few positions and a background check is required. I had in the past bounced one check while I was in the Army in Kentucky. I had to go to court, paid my fine and went on with my life. Will this show up in my criminal background check for a job in ohio? it has been since 1999. I work for a bank now and they said nothing of it however I am not sure how indepth they went. It worries me as I am moving to another city soon and need a new job. What is a bounced check considered in KY? I tried to google it before here but KY government site is having problems.

Whether this will show up on a background check depends entirely on how deep a background check is done. All background checks are created equal.
