Hello,
My ex husband decided to stop paying me spousal support when I landed my last job. I told him he had to pay unless he filed something requesting he didn't have to pay his support anymore. He didn't do that. He just refused to pay. I was laid off in December 2005 and to day he still hasn't paid. I've asked him on numerous occasions to pay his support. He always tells me, "You want it, take me to court". He assumes I can't afford to do that and he won't have to pay me anything. The spousal support is court ordered. It's been 14 months now. Is there anything I can do to enforce him paying his support short of hiring a lawyer again? Thanks!
