I need help. Typical story. I was newly widowed, met a gal with children, wanted to take care of them, all went great, too fast, moved in together, I paid for all, found out she was seeing other fellows, told her it was over, she physically attacked me and even said she just wanted money, she moved out and took all of my stuff including personal papers and family furniture. now she wants to take me to court claiming i said i would pay off one of her personal loans. No such conversation ever happened, no aggrement, no signature, etc. I tried an attorney but he said one thing one day and another thing at another time but did take my money. Any suggestions. I am afraid of retaliation.
