My ? is, I am disabled, was with the woman, I had kids buy, so she knows I am disabled, she helped me establish disability through social security, then
she makes a decision, of getting me out of her life, and wants more child support than my disability can handle, the court awarded her $55.00 a week,
per child, we have 3 children, a 20 year old, daughter and twin boys, 17, my daughter had a child, my twins sons got kicked out of school @ 16, I've been gone for 4 years, she filed for support in 2004, does child support sit and talk
with you on a one on one basis so it can be reduced, or is the woman always right, and it would be a complete waste of my time.

Were you present at the hearing to establish or modify the CS?
If you were, did you give the court proof of your income?
Do you have any income other than SS disability?
Are you recieving SSDI, or SSI?
If you are recieving SSDI, has ex applied for SS benefits for the child?

If the amount ordered is too high (more than 50%) of SSDI you can file for a modification. The CS is supposed to be based on income and can only be a percentage, not your entire income.
