I am sooooo livid. I had to do ANOTHER FCE (my first was a month ago) and this guy's discoveries are unreal. I CAN NOT BELIEVE his "findings!" First of all, this is the guy that w/c found to do my FCE. The first one was the one my doctor sent me to.

Ok. He increased my AROM by unreal numbers when I went to therapy three times a week and they couldn't. He asked me to stand and asked me to raise my arm. When he saw that my AROM was very limited, he asked me to lie on my back.

While on my back, he asked me to move my arm and then he pulled it until I couldn't take the pain and he'd measure it. Now, I'm not sure, but I could swear that that makes it PROM and not AROM. Anyway, my AROM measurements were based on that.

Also, my doctor released me based on my FCE findings. I had to ask him which one, the first FCE (which was correct) or the one last done....of course he chose the one last done.

I think I'm ok with it because I know that God is on my side and I can go back to work and make three times more than my w/c check--- and the extra money is much needed. But, I feel that what the last therapist did is wrong. There is no way I increased from a light category to a medium category over the period of one month and with no therapy. I have went through three surgeries on my left shoulder and am not about to do anything that would make it worse. It took me three months to improve in my PROM when I was going three times a week to my physical therapy.

I know it has taken me forever to get to my question, but here it is....Is there anyway I can report this therapist? As a nurse, we are reported to the state board. Do physical therapists have the same repercussions? Obviously he has falsified documentation and I am not going to lie down and take it. He has a lot of similarities in his findings with my first FCE when they are broken down, so I can't figure out how he came up with medium as my category.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Figured it out with my lawyer. His recommendations are inconsistent with his findings. My lawyer will address this in court and is looking forward to to it. :D
