Yes, it is perfectly legal. Surveillance isn't uncommon in WC (or any other disability plan).


There isn't a law that says that you can't volunteer, but if you are well enough to volunteer, the question remains why you aren't well enough to work.

Stalking isn't legal, but surveillance is. Big big difference. The investigator may ask questions about you, follow you and take pictures. Whether they can record audio without your knowledge depends on state law. Otherwise as long as you are in public, the investigator is free to watch and take pictures and can say his name is Donald Duck if he likes.

Are you actually receiving TTD while off for the summer? That is highly unusual.
