if you are terminated is the company aloud to tell other places that you apply for new employment why you were terminated or are they just too tell that you did work there and dates please help :confused:

Despite a persistant belief to the contrary, there is no law anywhere in the United States that limits an employer to providing only dates of employment. They may give prospective employers any information that is true or that they have valid and supportable reason to believe is true, including the reason you were fired.
