I work for a motorcycle shop in which I get paid and hourly and a commision on all parts sold. When I recieved my check stubb I noticed the commision had been lowered, without any notification. I went to the owner and he stated that we all were taking cuts. Is this legal? Can you just pay whatever you feel like? What governs a dealership to disclose total sales so that I know what my commission is SUPPOSED to be? Can he cut my check again and again? One last question, If you work over forty hours and a holiday lands on that payperiod, can they not pay your overtime and just give you a daily holiday pay?
