Our organization is run by a board of directors. The President of our business (paid employee) has had many, many documented encounters with almost everyone who has ever worked here. Complaints range from him trying to get empoyees to forge checks to just plain abusive and hostile behavior. The board finally had enough (after years of complaints) and relieved him of his duties. He is now fighting to get his job back.

Long story short--With grievances on file from all (and I do mean all) current employees and past employees who have come forward and told the board that they would have never resigned had it not been for his abusive treatment do we have any recourse against the board or this company if they bring him back and once again expose us to a hostile environment created by him?

We have also provided documentation that he was purchasing personal items on the company credit card and was paying his personal cell phone bill unauthorized from company funds. His last three raises were voted in at board meetings where a quorum was not present. I could go on all day but these are the highlights.
