Filed for child support in february, still nothing done by child support office. More pressing issue is dad wants to have kids visit out of state and we still do not have any custody arrangements. Can anyone in Kentucky send me the format for a petition for custody. I was told by county court i can file without lawyer but i need the proper format? I don't really know for sure how this forum works but in my profile I included my personal e-mail so that other members can e-mail me. I would sure appreciate any help anyone can give. Thanks!!

Until you hae something from the court, it would be wise to tell the father to come to visit the kids in Kentucky since he could keep them and seek a temporary court order in hsi state. My suggestion is to see if the county prosecutor's child support division will take your case. IT should be free to you to use and hopefully get you into court faster.
