Hi,

I worked in Bellevue/Seattle Washington for a consulting company based in Troy, Michigan for about 5 months and then quit my job as I got a better one. My employer is holding my final paycheck and he never responds to my emails or phone calls. I dont know if he paid my taxes or what other deductions have been made. He also paid me only the base rate for overtime as opposed to at least 1.5 times base rate, for my previous paychecks.

Its been more than two weeks that I have been trying to reach him. At this point I am quite frustrated and want to look for other options. Could anyone please suggest what would be the best to do ?

Also, I would like to mention that I have a non-compete agreement with him that I would inform him ateast 2 weeks ahead of my leaving, but gave him only a couple of days notice. Will this have any impact ?
