My husband and I are buying a house that is under construction. We have a mutually accepted purchase agreement dated April 1, 2006. Yesterday they asked us to sign a waiver of our financing contigency. Can they do this? It hardly seems fair that they can ask us to amend the contract 3 months after the purchase agreement was signed. What's up?
