I am a Regional Sales Manger in the state of California and will be giving two weeks notice on Monday of next week. When I have done this in the past with other companies, I have been paid for the two weeks notice period as well as paid for my unused vacation time.

Is it required by law in the state of California to pay the final two weeks even if the company says that they don't want you to work the remaining days? Also, are they required by law to pay me for my unused vacation time?

No, but you could draw unemployment.

Yes. If they terminate you prior to your notice date, final pay is due at that time (vacation, PTO, work pay, ETC..)
