I have an employee in the state of New York that will be going on maternity leave soon. Our company headquarters are in California, and I am familiar with California law and FMLA, however, I am not sure the same policies and procedures apply in NY.
Please help! I'd like to provide my employee with as much accurate information and literature possible, and educate myself, as the employer, on the required steps I need to take to accomodate my employee.
