You should file your bankruptcy case in the bankruptcy court for the federal judicial district where you have lived for the greater part of the previous 180 days. You can also file in the district where your principal place of business has been located during the previous 180 days or where your principal assets have been located for that period.



The Bankruptcy Court for the Southern District of Indiana has four locations. While it is possible to file petitions at any of our locations, we prefer that petitions be filed at the court where your case will be heard.
