i was out on maternity leave from may to september of 2003. while i was out, performance appraisals came due. i was told by management that i would not receive a raise because i technically only worked half the year. in other words, i had babies and i wasn't getting a raise.
She also tried to say that there were performance issuses. if diference of opinion is a performance issue.... there was never anything in writting to substantiate this claim. is this legal? i feel like i'm being harrassed because i chose to have children. i have since been forced to work afternoons and catch slack for days off requested.
