Yes, the law changed in November 2003. It states, "A licensee shall complete at least 6 hours of the required 18 hours of continuing education courses during the time period from November 2003 and ending on December 31, 2004. During calendar year 2005, a licensee shall complete at least 6 hours of the required 18 house continuing education courses. During calender year 2006, a licensee shall complete at least 4 hours of the required 18 hours continuing education courses."

Also, remember the CE exemption for persons obtaining their initial license is no longer in the license law. Every licensee needs continuing education.
