I just recently filed for chapter 7 in NY. I am still getting calls from credit companies, they are even calling my family looking for me. I had one company take money out of my checking account even after they were told that bankrupcy was filed. Doesnt anyone know the law on this? My lawyer is out of town for the holiday.
